Este es un lugar tranquilo donde puedes sentir y mezclarte con la naturaleza, lo que también significa que es un poco remoto.
Los bungalows son muy cómodos y bonitos, pero quizás no sean la mejor ubicación si quieres ir a la playa de Santa Catalina caminando. Playa Estero está a 8 min caminando por un sendero.
El equipo, Alicia, Ilaria y Francesco, son encantadores y muy serviciales.
En general, genial. ¡Tuve una gran experiencia aquí!

Alojamiento de tipo rústico. Estuve con mi mamá y hermana en la cabaña familiar. Es acogedor, pero ciertas cosas no funcionaban bien o estaban rotas, como el ventilador, lo cual no era ideal ya que era bastante caluroso. En general, estuvimos cómodas y a todas nos gustó mucho la experiencia. Aunque me pareció bastante caro para lo que ofrecen.
Es un buen lugar para desconectarse, ya que no hay recepción de celular y el wifi es un tanto lento. Eso me tuve sin cuidado, pero es algo a tomar en cuenta.
La entrada en carro es un poco difícil de ver, pero nos enviaron la ubicación por whatsapp, lo cual hizo que lo encontramos fácilmente. La vía de ingreso fue un poco difícil en un auto pequeño, aunque no más difícil que la ruta de entrada al pueblo. El hotel se encuentra a un kilómetro y medio del pueblo, así que es lo suficientemente cerca para caminar. Aunque es necesario llevar luz si se camina por la noche, ya que no hay luz en el camino.

Se encuentra en un lugar bastante tranquilo, ante de llegar al centro del pueblo de Santa Catalina, en la cima de una colina. Se alcanza a escuchar el mar.sus instalaciones, todas construidas con bambú hace 11 años, son hermosas y acogedoras. Recomendado para hospedarse con tranquilidad y disfrutas de esta arquitectura con bambú.

Not a nice place in my opinion, everything was dirty, only one ventilator. The fridge, shower, toilet didn’t work properly. Small and not well equipped kitchen. Uncomfortable mattresses. So all in all bad price-performance ratio

Fran and Ilaria are the most welcoming people with the BEST fusion food in town. A true experience. Don’t miss out!

Excelente lugar, un Ecolodge de ensueño, con súper estructura y atención de altura. Me enamore de este lugar apenas lo ví, hospedarme aquí fue una gran experiencia. Full recomendado.

Francesco y Francesco son excelentes anfitriones, aunque no tengan aire acondicionado no se pasa calor. La comida que preparan es buenísima. Pasarán un gran rato

No lo recomiendo, primero que el dueño quiere hacerse pasar por un buena gente amable, pero es una persona desagradable, mala vibras. La comida demasiado de cara y no es una gran cosa y cerca hay mejores lugar con mejores comida y más barato. Presencié como hubo un problema que el dueño que es señor italiano le dio un machetazo a un empleado. En cuanto vi eso preferí irme de ahí, no se que más paso la policía llego al rato. Pero es un asco de persona y tenía al principio como una gran personalidad pero solo fue pantalla.

Situato a pochi minuti dal centro, nel bel mezzo della Jungle questo lodge tutto in Bamboo è un posto fantastico. Grazie alla cordialità del proprietario che è anche un super cuoco e di tutto lo staff vi sentirete come a casa. Consigliato a tutti.
Hanno anche un moderno airconditioning van con il quale accompagnano i clienti al centro.

Fantastic place to stay - Fran is an amazing host and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, much appreciated!

The place is run by two fantastic people, Adriana and José. There is a little bar/restaurant on the property, but it's a but adhoc, if they're on site then the bar is open, but they are sometimes off surfing, exercising, or out running errands themselves. The breakfast is simple fare, but delicious and they have a pretty remarkable presentation for a continental breakfast. There's also a Mediterranean breakfast option which depends on if they have fresh fruit on hand. Either way, the food is terrific, the coffee is strong, and the price is reasonable.

We stayed two nights, in the Casa Familiar. It's a bamboo yurt style cottage with an open loft set on top of to smaller bedrooms and the bathroom which overlooks an open kitchen and the dining area. There are some cracks in the walls given the construction materials, but there are mosquito nets over all the beds. Some of the lights are out, but it sort of adds to the bohemian charm of the bed and breakfast property.

It's near enough to the main drive in the area that dead ends at the beach if you don't want to walk, but there's a trail you can take out the back of the property that will lead you straight there. The trail does run past the windows set into the wall lot the shower in Casa Familiar, but it'd be difficult for someone outside to catch sight of anything; just something to be aware of.

Overall, we were quite pleased with the stay and I would recommend this B&B to anyone if they're looking for a charming, laid back, and unusual place to stay. Seriously though, the best reason to stay here is to hang out with Adriana and José, they were both interesting, congenial, and articulate fellow travelers.

Worst experience we have ever had. We didn't even check in.

We arrived at about 10 and nobody was there. Well checkin is at 3 so all good. A confused gardener came then and we ordered some water.

Then we worked a little at our laptops. We have a own internet sim because there is no WiFi at all.

At 2 (or so) Francesco came and told us there is a big party tonight if we want some sleep tonight we should look for another hostel. The other hotsels and the beach are 2km away but they have a shuttle then can drive us. We should think about that.

That can happen we are ok with that.

We decided to find another hostel then and asked him If he can take us to the city.

"Ah sorry I can only drive you at 5pm"

WHAT? !

So we had to take the 2km hike with all our bags in the middle of the day (hot as hell) to the city. For him it would be a 3 min drive. We had fun thanks for the experience: D

We had a two person lodge and we felt very comfortable! The bamboo "architecture" is so cool!

Cabaña amplia construida con bambú. Equipada con todo lo necesario para cocinar, inluido refri pequeño. Baño limpio, con agua caliente. Todas las camas con mosquitera para quien quiera utilizar. En plena naturaleza, muy tranquilo y agradable.por la noche se oyen los grillos y se disfrutan las estrellas. Bar acogedor para tomar algo. Buen trato en todo momento

Beautiful place. A bit "far" from Santa Catalina town itself and the Estero beach. Better with a car. Owner is very kind and always available to help out. If you dont have a car, he will kindly give you a ride to town and pick you up.

Great place to stay near Santa Catalina and playa Estero. The bamboo cabins are cool and comfortable. Good staff and best of all: it is Pet Friendly as long as you have well behaved dogs

Very friendly staff and great food, we had freshly caught tuna, super fresh. The cabins are very spacious. The road towards the lodge is a little bumpy and dirty after some rain.

Excelente lugar. Muy acogedor. Ambiente espectacular para descansar. La atencion del personal a otro nivel. La comida deliciosa. Hermoso ambiente. Sin duda regresaremos muy pronto a visitar tan magestuiso lugar.
